Electromagnetic Flow Measurement
SITRANS F M electromagnetic flowmeters are suitable for
measuring the flow of almost all electrically conducting
liquids, pastes and slurries. Factors like temperature,
pressure, density and viscosity have no influence on the
result. The full program consists of three different
types of flowmeters making Siemens unique in that it
covers all possible applications where electromagnetic
flowmeters are a suitable match:
Modular
pulsed DC flowmeters
Modular pulsed DC flowmeters cover all ordinary
applications within all industries. The wide variety of
combinations and versions from the modular system means
that ideal adaptation is possible to each measuring task
and application.
Battery-operated
water meter
Fully electronic battery-operated water meters are the
perfect match for drinking water applications like
network distribution, revenue metering and irrigation
where mains power is not available. In addition, it
complies with the MID (EU) and OIML R49 water meter
standards and has the MCERTS certificate.
High-powered
flowmeter
High-powered flowmeters are used for difficult
apllications where other flowmeters can't stand up to
the task: this flowmeter can handle liquids and heavy
slurries in industries such as mining, cement and pulp &
paper.
Coriolis Flow Measurement SITRANS F C
Coriolis mass flowmeters are suitable for measuring
liquids and gases. The measurement is independent of
changes in process conditions and due to this
versatility the meter is easy to install and also
recognized for its high accuracy in a wide turn down
range.

Ultrasonic Flow Measurement
SITRANS F US ultrasonic flowmeters encompass two
technology types, clamp-on flowmeters and inline
flowmeters. The wide range of possibilities and benefits
of this selection offers the end user maximum
flexibility to choose the technology that best fits his
needs. In addition, a stand-alone pipe wall thickness
gauge for use on any pipe is also available.
Clamp-on
ultrasonic flow measurement
SITRANS F US clamp-on ultrasonic flowmeters measure the
flow of electrically conductive and non-conductive
liquids as well as gas. All flowmeters offer easy
installation, no pressure drop or energy loss, a wide
turn-down ratio, no need to cut the pipe or stop the
flow and a minimal maintenance since the external
transducers do not require periodic cleaning.
Inline
ultrasonic flow measurement
SITRANS F US inline ultrasonic flowmeters provide highly
accurate measurement of electrically conductive and
non-conductive liquids while minimizing installation
time and maintenance expenses. In addition, the
measurement results are independent of conductivity,
viscosity, temperature, density and pressure. The
flowmeters deliver great accuracy, simple operation as
well as rugged reliability for a wide range of process
conditions including district heating, water and treated
wastewater and petrochemical processes.
Thickness
gauge
The easy-to-use, digital ultrasonic SITRANS F US
thickness gauge measures the thickness of a pipe wall
making it an indispensable tool in accurate clamp-on
ultrasonic flow measurement. It can also be used as a
stand-alone tool to measure the wall thickness of any
pipe.
Vortex Flow Measurement SITRANS FX300 vortex
flow meters provide accurate standard volumetric and
mass flow measurement of steam, gases and liquids as an
"all-in-one solution" with an integrated temperature as
standard and pressure compensation as option.

In a flange version, the SITRANS FX300 is available as a
single or dual converter. Both versions of the vortex
flowmeter have the temperature sensor integrated and the
pressure sensor as optional.

Area Flow Measurement
SITRANS F VA variable area flowmeters are used to
measure the volume flow of homogeneous liquids and
gases. Variable-area flowmeters require no external
power source and provide accurate metering data even
where in- and outflow runs are not available.

Piston Flow Measurement
SITRANS F R rotary piston meters are used to measure the
volume flow of conductive and non-conductive liquids.
High viscosity media, acids and alcohol-based
concentrates are accurately recorded. Even measurements
subject to calibration standards can be undertaken. No
in- and outflow runs are required.
Orifice
Flow Measurement
SITRANS F O orifice flowmeters are used to measure
volume flows of liquids, gases and vapors. High media
temperatures and large bores have no influence on
